Balcón features some excellent items on the menu that are presented very well. The service is also top notch with attentive staff presenting knowledge of what's on the plate and in the wine glass. The staff were very courteous at every request. Unfortunately, the experience today was let down by the summer heat and glare of the sun, for which there was little respite in terms of a sun shade or air conditioning out in the back. The food also took a while to arrive on the table despite us being one of the first in for lunch.

Great food, great service although felt a little rushed as told the table was due back within two hours. Once we had left after two hours the restaurant was half empty so really didn't need to rush! Highlight were the donuts for dessert - divine! Overall it was a great experience and beautiful evening.

Great atmosphere. Very good for dates, ask for table closer to their internal courtyard. Great steak and potato, but it is a wasted visit if you do not have the spanish donut. A must try.

This place just doesn’t do customer service... it was their way or the highway.. corporate event ... everything was “no “ on the night... I felt like it was get us in, get us out... don’t understand during COVID I would expect they would want business... didn’t feel like it!

Balcon is my first choice for a relaxed atmosphere lunch in the city. Service is always friendly and prompt, food is great and easy for sharing if you prefer. Wine choices are amazing and staff are always happy to assist.

Really nice setting & ambience, food was good but pricey. I had the Flank Steak which was delicious but only a few pieces for 44! The major issue though was the service. Couldn't eat in peace and felt rushed. Even had the waiter stand over me to collect my plate as I put the last bit of my main meal in my mouth. Also, first time I have ever been asked by a waiter if I wanted to leave a tip for him. Awkward but no chance I was going to.

What we had the food was quite good. Prices are higher than I expected. So, not something I would make my go to Spanish restaurant but OK for every now and again.
