Fantastic, it was a beautiful sunny day, the sky was blue and there were plenty of people out in Hyde Park enjoying the sun. Archibald Fountain is a magnificent memorial fountain named after the editor of a magazine who bequeathed money to have it build but only by a French artist as he loved French culture. It is a remarkable fountain divided into three sections each with different statues. As you walk around the large circular fountain you will see 6 tortoises with jets of water as you pass. If you are visiting in Sydney then take a trip to Hyde Park to see Archibald's fountain.

It feels like the centre of the city! With the cathedral in the background and the tall city buildings on the other side of the park.. it's glorious!

Very evocative mythological sculptures. The water had a rejuvenating energy on a warm day.

wonderful and lovely place for strolling and chilling. Many birds are wandering near the water. The murmuring sound of the water is very soothing. Not much parking available near but its wheelchair accessible. The Saint James Train Station is a couple of yard away. The picturesque view of huge Saint Mary Cathedral can be observed from here as well. U can rent the place near it for wedding or events.

Hyde Park is a famous park of Sydney. It is located in the center of Martin Square, Royal Botanic Garden, Library, Cathedral, and Art Gallery. Here's a important view for tours. The fountain runs everyday and looks beautiful. Apollo, sun of God, rode horse with dolphins and turtles, stands in the center of park. That symbolizes the friendship between AU and France. Here is a good place for marriage' photography, many couples have impressive images overhere.
