Bought a BCD for my cousin from Dive Newcastle. I am an inexperienced diver and the staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. The courier was unexpectedly delayed but the staff were very accommodating for my needs.

Express delivery will take 4 to 8 days, is what I have been told by them. What's funny is the way they have discribed their delivery policy,same day shipping, it took them four Days to realise that the parcel hasn't been picked up. Don't waste time with them is what I have got to say about them.

I got my dive certification here three weeks ago and had a great experience. Dive instructor Wayne made sure everyone was confident and comfortable the whole process. Everyone at the shop is very friendly and willing to keep providing support after the certification is over. I've had two social dives since under Swansea bridge and off the boat at Moonie Island and they keep me wanting to return for more. Great experience for the solo newbie to gain some confidence and see some amazing sealife.

This place is an absolute disaster to do any online shopping with. Terrible customer service and false advertising. I ordered a dive computer that was on sale. 1 week pass by and I didn't hear anything from them. I called them the following week and they tell me they don't have stock for the computer so they would refund. I asked them why they didn't inform me this until I called and their response was we are too busy. I told them the computer was still advertised so it would be best to take it down. Took them another week to take the ad down. As I was surfing around the web for another dive computer, I saw that they had another model for sale. I called them and checked whether they had stock of this model and the person on the phone confirms they had stock in store. So i placed an order. 1 week pass by and there has been no communication so I decide to email them asking on a status update on the dive computer. No email replies. I call them again and they go, oh ya we don't have stock. We have a white one though it you'd like. I ask "I've never heard of a white OCEANIC F10 but if there is such a thing, sure i dont mind white. Can you check that you actually have this in stock?" and the person on the phone comes back saying I know we have white. Turns out she was referring to a GEO. When asked why they continued to advertise items for sale when they in fact had no stock? It's our suppliers fault not ours. Long story short, I then email them asking for a refund. There's no communication for another couple of days. There's no sorry for the inconvenience or for our mess up. And I eventually get refunded with no comms whatsoever. Don't waste your time or money with this shop. Absolutel (*&( hole and terrible customer service. I strongly advise against anyone buying anything from this place.

Went into the shop to arrange rental gear for a local shore dive. Despite have an instructors qualification they insisted I have a guide (a paid one) to dive locally. I considered this strange and went to another store in a nearby suburb. They couldn’t understand why I would need a guide, exactly my thoughts. Won’t go back again.
