Friendly vibe and very affordable food. The waiting time for the meal is a bit long but overall I’m happy and will go back very soon. If you’re coming here, I suggest you bring your friends as this is good for group dining

IF YOU HAVEN’T BEEN TO THIS PLACE THEN YOUR MISSING OUT!!!! SODA Factory is one of the most vibrant and unique bars in Sydney!!! With live music which is out of this world and definitely worth the trip!!! Soda factory bring an exclusive American style diner feel, paired with their famous Soda floats creates an atmosphere you have never experienced before. The hospitality is top quality, I’ve never felt so comfortable in a bar environment with such vibrant and friendly staff!!! Shout out to Rachael who looked after our tables extremely well. If you’re having a birthday here, I highly recommend booking the booths as they are super comfortable and 100% a vibe. The Dj is also top notch bring you the best 80s and 90s hits which will definitely be making you and your friends sing along. The food and drinks are extremely good! I highly recommend the Cherry cola soda float and the Motown Mac and cheese which is too die for!!! One of my favourite bars and will definitely be coming back again!!! Overall soda factory is hidden gem with unique aesthetic which stands out from the rest of the bar in Sydney!!!!
It's an amazing bar, with an even better atmosphere!!! If you haven't been you're definitely missing out and should visit. It truly is a hidden gem of Sydney as they say and I would definitely go back given the chance! I was greeted with friendly and capable staff, who did an excellent job. Shout out Rachael! The music selection perfectly complemented the vibe of the bar! Long story short give it a go, you won't regret it!!!
Tried to come in today as a walk in with my wife and decided to wait on the line. We got there at 7:50pm and there was 5 people in front of us (a couple and another group with 3 people). After 20 minutes waiting (and only the couple was able to get it at that moment), a group of 5 people (with no booking) arrived, were sent to the back of the waiting line and were let in 5 minutes later. Not long after, a group 13 people arrived (with booking made for 10) so the guys that were controling the entrance sent the 3 extra guys to wait at the end of the line like everyone else (which sounded fair enough). Funny or not, these 3 people that were sent to the back of the line were granted entrance 5 minutes later, but now they were in 5. In the meantime everyone with bookings were coming in (as they should, after all they had bookings), the group of 3 people that were in front of us were let in and me and my wife were offered the option to go in, but to stand up only as there wasn't any free tables. Bare in mind it was now 8:58pm and me and my wife only wanted to have some drinks and have fun. I did mentioned to the security guard that I was unsatisfied about everyone getting in before was, even though they arrived later but he just said " nothing I can do, I'm just trying to help". To complete the experience, as soon as we got in we ordered a beer and a cider, which both were warm (room temperature). Resume: waited for 1h to get in, saw 10 people who arrived after us (and had no bookings) getting in before us, drank a warm beer and left to have some beers and something to eat on a nearby restaurant. Also, website mentioned that the place would have live bands from 8:30pm, but we left at 9:15pm and only DJ was playing.
You'll definitely miss it, if you ain't looking properly! Definitely a nice hidden US-style diner and bar that you must tick off your list of bars to visit in Sydney! The 1 hotdogs that happen every Tuesday is a bargain you don't want to miss out on! And check their website to see what other special events are going on. The Tuesday that we went they had musical bingo going on, which kept the night entertaining! Best of all, it's located just a short stroll from QVB! Would definitely suggest making a booking, as there is always something on every evening, which attracts a crowd.
Soda factory is one of the best bars I've been too. Had a great time there, the food was fantastic. Rachael was super friendly and great, she helped us with our table!! I'd definitely recommend Soda factory.
Went to soda factory with some friends for after work drinks. The service among the staff was exceptional. Music was such a great vibe! Thank you to Franky for his cocktail recommendations! I’ll definitely be back next week.
