It really good. The food came quickly and the owner was too kind for words. I went with my mum after a long day and it was nice to be able to sit down and eat food that tasted like it came from the heart. Definitely coming back.

The recommended authentic egyptian food in Sydney. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes ( Kebda eskandarany and Molukhia), beautiful presentation, and wonderful dessert (Um Ali). I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Recently had dinner here and I will most definitely be back! Went with a group so many dishes were ordered and everything was so delicious. I especially loved the trio of dips served with fried bread...yum! The owner Mina was very attentive, our dishes came out fast but we weren't made to feel rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to enjoy good quality, well priced food in a casual setting.

Cairo’s gourmet kitchen was amazing! Not only was the food exceptional but the service was amazing! So much care was taken into cooking the food and you could definitely taste it with every bite. Such fresh ingredients! Amazing options for vegetarians as well! Was blown away but the Koshari, such a tasty dish! I had never tasted anything like this before, a must try if you visit! Definitely going back many times to experience such amazing food again!

Recently had dinner here with a group of friends and was blown away by all the dishes we ordered. Authentic Egyptian food is what makes this place outstanding. Mina the owner made us feel very welcome and ensured everything was perfect from beginning to end. Highly recommend this place and look forward to dining here again!

Portion sizes could be improved. The main meat dishes come with bread, small serving of tahini and a small salad. You really need more salad and dips (hummus, etc) to make this worthwhile. Trio of dips was over 25 which is extortionate. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. Will try again in the future to see if it has improved.
