I ordered takeaway from here today, waited well over 30mins. What I asked for was the Garden Burger, on your menu board it's says beetroot, on the website no beetroot, thats why I ordered this burger as I wanted beetroot, I was suppose to get tomato, no tomato. Also ordered large fries, the box was only half full. I've had lord of the fries before and loved it not from here unfortunately.

I had been wanting to try lord of the fries for so long 60.00 for 2 burgers 2 chips 2 drinks,, I do not mind paying for quality but the the food was so bad threw half of it in the bin! Where do I start the burgers were just gross mess not put together proper the tiny bit of lettuce was so gross limp and old, chips were gross drown in gravy when I asked for a little bit, the other chips I asked and paid for a tomato sauce on the side which I never received ( got take away so didn't realise till I left) 2 milkshakes were warm! NOT ONE THING I ORDERED WAS NICE OR QUALITY FOOD! This place gives vegan food a bad name!
Avoid. Took literally 20 minutes for a hot dog and loaded fries with no other customers and no aggregater orders. Got premium Chicago dog (15). Pickles were good, rest was horrible. Dog only filled half of the bun, and was overcooked with horrible seasoning. I threw it out. My partner got the loaded fries (13) and it tasted off and we threw that as well. Serving size for price was a joke as well, loaded fries in a burger box was 13. I'm sure the reviews for this place have been boosted by the vegan market, but this place is absolutely bottom tier. Date night ruined, thanks guys. I'd appreciate my money back. Since I can't upload pics I'm willing to message anyone my dog with half a sausage, it's quite funny.
In love with the variety. The food is always fresh. Speedy service. The staff is very welcoming. 5/5 for service. Totally recommend anyone craving for delicious vegan food.
I just had my first ever lord of the fries experience. Not sure if it's due to timing or not but there was very few people working. The person at the front didn't really seem to care about serving customers while I saw two people at the back trying to cook orders. I ordered a chick'n burger and regular chips. As a vegan,I miss chicken burgers (newly vegan) sadly this didn't hit the spot. The vegan chicken patty tasted a but odd,it may be because I'm not a fan of faux chicken or maybe it's how it's cooked? But the sauces on the burger did attempt to disguise the taste of the patty. The regular chips were fine. Because I waited 30 mins for my order and didn't kick up a fuss like other customers,I was offered a complimentary drink. I work in customer service,so I understand the delay in service. I'll give Lord of the Fries another go at another time, hopefully a less busy time. But I do suggest that making your register staff at least attempt to care about the service to customers would be nice. Especially when I heard a customer ask for a manager and the register staff member pointed to the people cooking the food and walked away.
I didn't realise this was a vegan restaurant until after I ordered, but I thought I would give it a chance (more signage would be a good idea). If I'm honest, I have never been impressed with vegan food, especially when it tries to imitate non-vegan food. I wasn't expecting much from the burger and it delivered on this expectation. The fake meat lacked any kind of flavour or texture, like eating an unseasoned potato. The fake cheese was just disgusting. The salad was great, very fresh and crispy although the flavour was drowned out by far too much sauce. Overall it really just missed all the key points that make a good burger. If you want to see how good a vegetarian burger can be, order the rebel whopper from Hungry Jack's, I sometimes even choose it over the meat version it's that good. I was excited about the chips because I thought a place called "Lord of the Fries" would have pretty great chips. However I was sorely dissapointed. The chips were very ordinary, the same chips you would get from any local fish and chip shop, only more expensive. The staff were pleasant enough and the food came out in a reasonable time.
I called up to ask about the premium chicken patty, because it’s showing a picture of a snitzel and I want grilled ... and the ones that show picture of grilled say snitzel in description so it’s really confusing it’s all back to front on Ubereats.. he hands the phone over to the supervisor and the supervisor hangs up on me.. I call back twice and it goes to message bank. These 2 Indians should not be representing the store. I was asking a simple question which one is the grilled patty so I can order it and they disrespect me. I will not be ordering from this store now. Maybe hire some AUSTRALIAN people that respect women and don’t hang up on customers or answer the phone. Disgusting!!
I wish I could give less then 1 star. Thank God origin kebabs was on the way home after trying this food. It was dead quiet, only 2 other customers besides ourselves and we all waiting 25mins for "food". After paying 42 for a hotdog, loaded fries and a munch pack, we expected Grilld level quality..... boy were we disappointed. The hotdog bun had the consistency of biting into a rubber mat and the "sausage" was cold and had zero taste... thank God for the jalapeños, otherwise it would have had no taste it all. The loaded fries were cold and looked like someone had eaten them, then vomited them back into the box. And the much pack..... probably the only slightly edible thing, had they not be cold. But it would be hard to fail at cooking onion rings and cheese bites. Overall, I felt robbed. Had it not taken 25mins to get the food I would have marched back down there to ask for my money back, but God only knows how long it would have taken to achieve that simple task. Save your money and go to grilld, or if you do decide to eat this, make sure you eat it on the surfers paradise beach where there are no lights and you can't look at what you're eating.
