Great service, amazing tasting food, generous portions. The mushroom chicken came with a delicious creamy sauce, topped with Parmesan, paired with saffron rice, it was delicious. The side salad that came with it was actually enjoyable. The mixed grill was flavoured really well, chips were hot & crunchy, can’t fault anything. Staff were friendly & helpful. Will definitely return here on my next trip to the Gold Coast.

The food isn’t terrible. However, the chef is an abusive staff member with no respect for customers and the rest of his team. He spoke to the wonderful floor staff in a derogatory, condescending and belittling manner. He told a staff member to “hush” on multiple occasions, which could be heard in the dining area. His comments led to this staff member crying on at least two occasions that we observed. The chef was disrespectful and abusive and we hope the owner of the restaurant reprimands him for this behaviour. To the owner, the phone call you had with your chef was completely false. We speak Arabic thus we understood all his lies he was giving you. Neither of the staff were rude or even demanding and he was completely lying in his phone call. Not only is he abusive to your staff, he could be heard complaining about one of our requests to exclude salad from one meal, he took out his anger on the staff member. We are restaurant owners and it is expected that all staff members are treated with respect and equality and concerns should be dealt in private not whilst the entire restaurant can hear. Unacceptable behaviour.

Best place in town for a quick smoke while having a snack, the owner and the staff are very nice and interactive, food representation was definitely a huge plus too.

Best service from the beautiful owners and staff. You can easily tell that the food comes from the heart and the tradition and cooked with love. I come from Melbourne and this place is better than most, if not all the middle eastern restaurants there. Must visit!
