These people are the best at what they do and they actually care. They have helped me with my new disability, which isn't easy to cope when you haven't been sick. They also helped me with my housing situation, now I needed a wheelchair access. They also helped me with my finances, introduced me to their shop on site that has cheap vegetables, fruit, meat and other groceries. They have more services than I can mention. Strong Nation helps with all these things and more without ever making you feel bad or unworthy of help. I came away feeling on top of the world and my head was clear, I felt that life would go on. I urge anyone who needs help don't suffer go see them what do you have to lose

My regret when it comes to Strong Nation is that my vocabulary and eloquence fall so short when it comes to praising these people. Lee, Zoe and all of the volunteers seem to have a boundless energy and love of helping people. They have a way of helping anyone in need without making them feel needy. It is my honest opinion that there are no accolades worthy to thank them.

What a great place this is upon experiencing financial hardship and struggling to put food on the table for me and my wife and our animals i was forced to seek help and they opened their door to me. There is a lot of people out there needing help and there is a waiting period of up to 3 weeks for their services but it's well worth the wait as i was given 250.00 in EAPA Vouchers to go towards my electricity bill plus 2 25.00 Woolworths vouchers to buy food and groceries with only. Also i have required the services of a financial counsellor in the centre by the name of Joanne Hunt who is the best at what she does in the area who has already helped me and my wife out so much in the short period of time that i have known her. If you decide to get this free service be warned that she is a very busy lady with a lot of clients to help out so please be patient with her as she is lovely lady thank you.

Though they sound helpful over the phone the staff will refer you back to their website which is not so user friendly. The staff themselves know this and openly say so to the public but it seems no one is making the effort to do something about it. It's best if you visit them to sort out your issues or seek clarification. They're very customer focused and friendlyso they seem. You get to understand all the nuance of how the council works. Sometimes the advice provided by the team can be completely incorrect and due to fear will not put it in writing. For example before purchasing a property I spoke to the duty town planner who advised it was an ideal location to start a particular business as it ticked the boxes but after purchasing it the DA approval didn't move forward as an senior town planner had different view. Now I am stuck with a property whose market value is not moving up or not rentable due to its location. This council is run by incompetent town planners who cannot agree to the same thing putting the residents into a real mess.
