The kids were very happy in their lessons, even though the prices are not competitive. However the terrible customer service will stop us from going back. I tried to call many times on many days and never was able to get though and no answering service and when I finally did get through the reception staff gave us the conflicting info regarding cancelling our membership TWICE. I feel like they were blatantly trying to take advantage of us regarding cancelling our membership. Many emails went back and forth which could have been solved in one email . It was obvious that Stromlo leisure Centre were happy to take money but not provide us with the service. Good place for a casual swim but NEVER sign up to the memberships unless you want to be ripped off.

Excellent sparkling 50m pool and large splash park for the children. Cafe doesn't yet have much in the way of food but good coffee. It's an extensive facility and so far not a lot of users (attach photos). Grab it while it's there.

The facility is new, clean and has a good fit for all ages and abilities. The only reason I am scoring this place low is that they do employ very young people and teenagers as lifeguards who might not understand and have the the skills to communicate with children and families especially when they have diverse needs and backgrounds without sounding like law enforcement. Stromlo staff could hugely benefit from education, training and awareness. Gunghalin Leisure Centre (also run by YMCA) has awesome staff and may be Stromlo can take a leaf out of their book. Thank you!

Avoid at all costs, they will up sell memberships and not deliver services. We tried to get swim classes and 2.5 months and 400 later we managed to get 1 class. Staff will ignore requests to refund you for not providing the service they signed you up for and they are still debiting our account after we have cancelled our membership. We are now having to go through the ACT office of fair trading to try and get them to stop selling people sold out swim classes.

The facility is fantastic. However the booking system is abysmal! You cannot book more than one category at a time. The system frequently reverts back to an empty screen once you've filled out the details and press next to confirm. It can take over 30 minutes to try and get a successful booking.

Great pool with a ramp into the deep pool and a water wheelchair available. The smaller pool looks full of family style fun

Really nice centre. I visited as part of a school swimming carnival, as my first visit. The facilities were clean and well maintained, staff were helpful and supportive and hte day went smoothly. Coffee was nice too. :-)
