Really unfortunate because in the past have absolutely loved Ceres on numerous occassions but it's when the ball is dropped that really stands out. Ordered using their app as they advertise all the time then bathed my son expecting dinner to be delivered only to come out to the app refunding and cancelling my order after 25mins. Then got told 15mins wait if i picked up which turned into a 35min wait...it gets better...the pizzas were dry the garlic bread was poor and the "300g" of chips for 4 was a half empty container that was actually 220g... as i said very sad as i have loved the food in the past but such a drop in quality i wonder if it is even the same management/owners? I honestly don't know if i will go back after this experience...

Ordered through the app, app said 25 minutes for pickup. Arrived 25 minutes on the dot to a pizza not even started and a team without a leader. The person purporting to be in charge had no idea with regard to customer service, timeframes, leadership or seemingly anything else. A dramatic, smart Alec without even a clue in the world. Told the pizza would be another 15 minutes. Waited outside for 15 minutes then walked back in to find pizza still not started and told it would be another 15 minutes. Asked for a refund and told I couldn’t have one because the “leader” didn’t know how to do it. Asked for the boss’s contact details and was blown away when the “leader” gives me the guys mobile number. After witnessing the “leader” abusing 2 other customers (one which had been waiting for a garlic bread the entire time I’d been there) I leave and call the owner to then endure a 13 minute phone call which consisted of excuse after excuse, yelling at me, using the F word about 20 times, the C word twice (referring to customers and his staff as such). This was the most bizarre (and perplexing) attempt at finding a good pizza in the area I have ever experienced. The decor and shop layout was curious to say the least. A pity I didn’t read all the (existing) google reviews prior to giving this place a go.
Placed an order at 11:45pm for a reg pepperoni pizza through Uber eats eta delivery time was 12:15/12:30am which is all good (obviously have to prep, cook food and than send out with a driver) but it got to 12:45am and yet to receive a notification saying if my order was on the way, called the restaurant 3 times asking where my order was and they told me it was out on the road and should be there within 5 minutes (they said this each time) it got to 1am and was yet to receive my order, we called the store to be talked to so rudely by the one staff at the restaurant saying the order will get there when it gets there. I’ve never felt so disrespected by any fast food/restaurant employee ever. I work in a fast food restaurant and if I ever spoke to a customer like that I would be fired immediately no if or buts. Please train your employees properly and fix your delivery times. Will never be ordering again.
We’ve ordered pizzas from here multiple times. Every time it arrives hot and fresh. The pizzas are flavoursome and the wedges are great too! The prices are reasonable and so are the delivery costs. It’s our go to pizza place. We order directly using the Ceres Pizza app. The app can be a little clunky but we understand it’s still a work in progress and look forward to seeing the end result. Sometimes throw in a freebie which is always a lovely surprise - sweets, small pizza, lollies etc. Today I ordered a pizza and wrote a note to ask for any freebies to be vegetarian. I’m so grateful and appreciative that they read my note and sent the best vegetarian pizza I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for making us feel like valued customers. We’re moving away from the area and are really going to miss the food here.
Fantastic Pizza’s and Customer service as well. Owner is really polite and is very helpful. Will definitely be back for pizzas again and also to try the Hamburgers amongst the rest of the good looking food there. Such a huge variety of food!!! Update: Been back a few more times and the food coming out is just incredible. New owners now and very friendly and open to all suggestions and feedback good or bad. So many different flavours of pizza’s to try and what best time to taste them all then an all you can eat night every Monday-Wednesday. See you again soon guys Keep up the great work
First time ordering. Lasagna & BBQ Meatlovers Well I am not one to complain but the lasagna was extremely small & mainly runny cheese not actual meat. Flavour not the best. The pizza was ok however small again & too much sauce that made it quite sloppy. Very disappointed as it is a rainy Easter night & we usually cook at home but was lazy so ordered this. Next time we will cook ourselves. I would love my money back but I’ll just leave it like that.
Front counter staff were not wearing face masks despite having a box of face masks on the counter. Kitchen staff were wearing masks but not covering their nose and would take them off when talking. EDIT: To be clear I have no issue with supplying masks to customers (appreciate the gesture), what i am pointing out is the lack of their use by staff when they are literally within arms reach.
Honestly its an absolute joke when a pizza and takeaway restaurant does not even have a place for immediate contact you ring there number and it has some message openly admitting that you cannot follow anything up with the restaurant and only use the app. Pizzas were stupidly late and were below average even after waiting triple the amount of time for them.
