This is a fabulous cottage style accommodation. The view across the bay from our room and balcony was exceptional. The bed and pillow were amazingly comfortable. There was no noise from other rooms and the bath and shower were great. It was a really great stay. The customer service was excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Right in the heart of the twin and just up above was one of the best restaurants. View 42.

We stayed here five years ago and I think Covid has had a detrimental impact on this part of Tasmania. The staff aren't very friendly or helpful (not sure if they are just frustrated/unhappy) but would consider other accommodation in the future if I returned to Strahan. Such a shame because it's such a lovely harbour town. Rooms are very tired and in need of updating.

Yeah it's a bit old and outdated, and takes a little time to find the toilet flush button, but it's nice enough and I had a pleasant stay. I stayed in one of the upper hotel rooms facing the carpark, I'd suggest asking for a harbour view (spectacular!). Staff were friendly and pizza at the restaurant was good. Happy holidays!

Not as great as we expected. Cottage was cute but the decor was terrible and the bed very uncomfortable. Good location. Would not stay here again as I feel it was over priced for what was offered.

Quiet village on the meeting of Macquarie Harbour and Gordon River with gift shops selling onsite handmade timber products. Launch site of the awesome river cruise.

Very basic accommodation. Clean though and great hot showers. Lovely view of the water from the balcony. Unfortunately covid has hit the town so its not as bustling as usual until it reopens again once restrictions lift.

Firstly, let’s put this in context - Strahan is on the remote west coast of Tasmania, at least 4 hours from the nearest regional city Hobart. So New York it ain’t. The region is stunning, isolated and scenic and you don’t necessarily come here for the five star accommodation. Strahan Village is an nice mid level complex of rooms and villas, nestled in the edge of this pretty town. The rooms are clean, well presented and comfortable, if a little dated. Staff were pleasant and parking is available close to the rooms. No, it’s not five star, but we slept well, had a great hot shower and the towels were clean and fluffy. And not bad value for money!
