Great range etc, but I went in looking to get started in a hobby and explained I am on a budget and that the kits were more than I wanted to spend, I then got reccomended individual tools to get which totalled more than the kit. Great store if you are an established woodworker, or for wood blanks (great range) I'd check out online starter sets from other retailers for wood carving if you don't want to feel priced out of a new hobby.

Amazing shop and brilliant customer service! We were served by Cameron who helped explain and give demonstrations on how to get into woodworking. He took his time and showed us a variety of equipment and methods, as well as how to look after the tools we were purchasing. Overall we were extremely happy and can't wait to come back.

Visiting from Mount Gambier. Very disappointed to spend 20 minutes in the store looking at various pieces of gear wanting to get bit of advice - bandsaws, thicknessers and jointers - only to be completely ignored by all 3 staff members . A bearded guy was serving another customer but an older bloke and a younger bloke totally fixated on computer screens rather than customer service. Guess my 5000 (?) will go to someone on line. Did hear the bearded guy say that incoming store stock is sold out before it arrives so nothing available for the other customer to see on the floor. Business must be too easy! What is Laguna thinking?
