It's been 18 years since we were last year (we now live in the outer south east and the steak restaurant we used to frequent closed during covid) and we left finding a NYE restaurant to the day before and not surprisingly could not get into any of the bigger steak restaurant chains. After reading some of the reviews on Google and Tripadvisor we were a bit nervous but should not have been. The decor is still "80's bank" fitting with the restaurant theme, the owner was friendly and far from overbearing like other had said with all other staff very pleasant and professional. The steaks were top notch and cooked to perfection. We had no criticism whatsoever and even going back for my birthday on the 13 Jan. Support the little guy and not the big chains.

The meat on offer here is quite stunning, with numerous cuts and sizes. And this is what the Steak Bank is all about, lots of fun to be had around meat! Alas, there was very little else on offer. Perhaps other sides and sauces could be prepared fresh in the kitchen?
