SO DISAPPOINTED - AMENDED - Problem solved BECAUSE of this review, and I couldn't be more pleased with the way things worked out.
Was loving visiting the pool with my step son until last time I visited and spent 20 on goggles for each if us. When mine leaked and the rubber came away from the eyepiece after one use, I asked the attendants what could be done. I was told to 'probably try glue'. I was stunned after buying these only a week earlier, and asked one of the attendants again for help, my goggles were taken, left behind the counter for an hour.
I only got them back after asking where they were from the pool and was told, oh they're over there somewhere. I picked them back up, and now BOTH eyepieces were leaking. I again, asked the attendant what to do, now that BOTH eyes were leaking, not just the one. After giving the goggles back again, I asked for a new pair, they said no, and tried to give me back the broken useless pair to which I said, maybe you should return them to your supplier? They said, no, you'll just have to use them as they are. I said, you can keep them, they're useless to me. The attendant threw them on the floor. It was poor behaviour, rude at best.
REALLY DISAPPOINTED.... WAS LOVING THIS VENUE.
A postscript needs to be added to this review, as I have been contacted by the person in charge from the council, who was absolutely wonderful. He has sorted out this isdue, and apparently when I visit today, the first time since the incident above, I will be given a new pair of goggles, and have been assured that no one will treat me meanly, or be anything but professional. I can't wait to take my step son up for a swim today so we can check out the state of affairs. If all goes well, I'll be back to amend my star rating this evening.
MANY thanks to the wonderful HEAD STAFF at the council, who sorted out this problem for me. I feel like a valued customer once again.
