I was in need of someone to look at my pool pump which wasn't working. It was a week and a half before Xmas so I needed to know if someone could come out and have a look at it. Two days after taking my money for their upfront payment of the service fee, they still couldn't tell me whether someone could come out and look at the pump because they were STILL trying to work out their schedule. Time was clearly of the essence and if they couldn't make it I needed to know so requested a refund, which they happily obliged. I wouldn't try these guys again and wouldn't recommend them based on their clear lack of organisational skills.

Contacted Waterama on Monday as our pool was green as the "replacement" pool cleaner head they put on in December didn't work, which I told them on the phone. They came out Tuesday and didn't change it, so the pool got greener so we notified our real estate. Waterama called back to say they were coming Thursday, I let them know again the "replacement" pool cleaner head didn't work and it would potentially be a big cleaning job as slime and mould were growing up the pool walls. Ashley told me they would have a look but couldn't guarantee they would fix the problem before the weekend as "their techs have extremely busy schedules". I reminded Ashley that it was Thursday and they had two days before the weekend and she told me that their techs "were extremely busy or going on leave" - not my problem. They came and the pool is less green but still doesn't have a cleaner in it so I guess we will just wait and see! EDIT - 28FEB just attached a photo of how our pool looks this month after Waterama "serviced" it on Monday 24FEB and left the cleaner in pieces

It's hard to park in the limited space provided with access also being difficult. I gave it a go anyway to support my local small business rather than go to Bunnings just up the road, only to be met with an arrogant bloke speaking at me like I was a complete dumb arse then trying to sell me very over priced products that I didn't go in for. Won't be back.

Like so many businesses are unfortunately, these guys are so helpful when selling and giving advice for which you need to buy something, but when there's a problem or they need to remedy a mistake, they don't return calls, don't deliver on promises, and ignore any communication attempts other than face-to-face. I've been a loyal customer here for many years but recently one of their contractors didn't deliver as promised, and gave advice which has made the situation worse. Waterama have completely wiped their hands of the problem, despite being the ones who were more than happy to take upfront payment and make promises about the contractors obligations which they're now not willing to uphold. Find another pool shop people. I used to think the service was worth paying that little bit extra, but it's not. You need to find a pool shop who's with you through the good and the bad.

So disappointed at the service with Waterama. Waited several weeks for my pool filter to be fixed. But even before the work was even completed they took money out of my account without my authorization and it was far more than the original quote. A very upsetting time as I believed keeping account details was illegal.
