Wow. Recently enrolled in Fitness Certificate iii and the teachers are exceptional!!! Confident, knowledgable, engaging and very well mannered. I'm is pretty sure that TAFE will replace universities in near future.

Completed a short course here over the summer. It was quite enjoyable. The location of the TAFE in St Leonards is easily accessible by bus (there is a bus stop right outside that goes in both directions, located on a main road) or train (approximately a 10min walk to St Leonards station). There are also various cafes and parks close-by. The teacher that we had was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and really wanted to help. I appreciate her feedback and the time she spent to make sure we understood the concepts. Onsite, there is also a cafe/convenience store, a bubbler and ample seating area. There was a games area in our building (I think it was building J), with board/card games and also one of those old school game machines. The negatives: the organisation for the summer courses was a bit poor; we were told to come on the wrong day, and weren't given much information about it. The front staff also appeared a bit standoffish, but that may be because they also did not know what was going on. The program we needed to use was also not available on the computers, causing some problems.

A magnificent campus. A quiet centre of learning just off bustling Pacific Highway. I am told there are many fee free courses available up to advanced diploma level. Worth checking out.

Warning Warning Warning! I studied EAP course ( English course) in there. The teacher’s name was Darya. She was extremely racist and rude. I couldn’t reply back to this devil cos my life conditions didnt allow me to do that. Guys watch out.

I have been studying HSC pathways (year 11/12 combined) at Tafe St Leonards. Despite the disruption of COVID, classes continued online with minimal disruption. Through disability support extra resources were made available to help me get thru Physics & xtn1 maths. The teachers have been top notch. The class sizes are small so you get quality attention. What the normal schools cover in 7 terms we cover in 3, so it all goes pretty quickly (so don't attempt to do the same number of subjects at once as you'd attempt at a regular HS). But there's a lot less BS that you may be accustomed to in a regular school - no bullies, no cliques, no assemblies, no excursions & no cult-like celebration of course completion. When I asked my maths teacher what hapens at the end of the year, he said 'I go fishing'. You come here to learn & go home to study - you need to act like an adult and be self-driven without the cumbersome structure of a regular High School. Around the campus, half the vending machines will swallow your 5 note. Half the boomgates to the carpark were broken at the start of the year. Half the taps in the sinks of any bathroom were broken (but the toilets are clean!). Up to half the lifts on campus may be broken. But none of that matters.

Should put more maps around to be able to identify the required block! I kept going back and forth for 20 minutes!
