David Fauchon

Dr Laban is an incredibly down to earth surgeon. His explanations of the condition and surgical procedure are delivered in an easily understandable way. He consciously makes a connection with you as a patient and does all he can to mitigate barriers to communication. I never felt rushed during consultations and I felt sure and confident that Dr Laban was interested in answering each of my questions, even though my list of questions wasn’t short. My impression was that I was being cared for by someone who is called to their work rather than someone who chose a vocation.

Dr. Laban is an incredible person and an amazing doctor. My very recent experience for a surgery with him to remove a tumour has been a life changing experience. I felt very secure and cared for by him during and after the surgery. He explains the medical condition and the surgical procedure in very clear terms. He very patiently answered all our queries throughout the process. For the surgery, he constituted an excellent team doctors and the surgery was seamless without any issues. Post -surgery, his care was exemplary with every day visits including Christmas day to check on my progress. The care continued after my discharge to check on me including public holidays. He is a kind and caring person who is a rare combination of highest professionalism and personal care. I was fortunate to have him as my doctor. Thank you, Dr. Laban.

I had the pleasure to see Dr James Laban and he performed Lumbar Fusion surgery which was a total success and pain free since waking up after the op. He is such a lovely, friendly doctor with a great bedside manner which a lot od medical professionals lack. He came and saw me in the ward most of the days after surgery to see how I was healing. Could not recommend him highly enough and a huge thank you Dr Laban !!

Dr Laban basically changed my life. I went from virtually 24 hour crippling pain to absolutely pain free in less than 6 months. His support staff also go above and beyond when it comes to organising surgery and paperwork, explaining everything in terms you can understand.
