Went ice skating here with the kids, but other than that there was nothing else!

I walked through late afternoon yesterday. It was a little quiet but I expect it gets very busy in the eveni. The Spiegel tent was up and hopefully there are still tickets available for one of the shows. The good stalls were plentiful and diverse, I'll be taking my friend from the country. A really cool place to hang out and brace the cold.
Skate rink rocks and so does the rest of MAP57. It's so good to have something going on outdoors around here. Love the amount of open fires!!!
Review of Skate Rink only, however considering its poor quality I would not consider utilising any of the other amusements in the winter garden. Skating without an aid is not suitable for anyone under 8; unless you are a proficient skater. Steps to ensure safety of users and/or duty of care clearly not taken by operator. Rink is surrounded by a steel barrier - no padding on barrier nor any padding on wire fencing. "Children's skating aid" which are available for hire are on a first come first served basis which is fair enough however I think priority should be given to children under 5. A full refund should be provided to those under 5 if a skating aid is unavailable instead of " just hold them between your legs" advise. T&C's state an aid is required for those under 5. Very surprised Port Phillip Council provided a licence for this operator considering lack of safety for public.
If I could mark 4.8, I would. Had a fabulous night watching the very sexy and erotically funny Blanc de Blanc but couldn't stay much longer, after the show, because it was so cold. Needed more fire pits then would have stayed forever! Great fairy floss
We have had a ball at MAP 57. The kids love the ice skating and what's not to love about mulled wine and fires. Deluxe.
Saw the fantastic Djuki Mala at Map 57 last night. The audience loved it, whooping and hollering and gave them a well deserved standing ovation. Chat around the fires post show was full of happy, happy people! So much fun. Really looking forward to The Black Sorrows this weekend and getting back to Blanc de Blanc before it ends. The food stalls are also amazing. Thanks for bringing some wonderful winter action to St Kilda!
