A big shout out to Omar the specialist I have seen twice whilst having a broken ankle he was wonderful. My first visit with Omar was gentle, caring and thorough. He had time to explain what was going to happen with my ankle going forward. I had my second visit yesterday and no change the same lovely bed side manner. We need more caring people like Omar. Keep up your great work. Liz Willis

Had a great experience at this urgent care. I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving and the Dr, receptionist, and nurse were all attentive, polite, and exceptional in their service. Will definitely use again if needed. Highly recommended service.

I have visited four times now, all for my son who is now just about to turn two. The care and kindness has been incredible. The doctor's are extremely thorough and so very awesome with children ! I would go as far to say I had more attentive and approachable DRs here than I did at PCH! Thankyou for never making me feel like I'm wasting your time :) I wish I knew the name of the lovely doctor who saw us this afternoon , he has seen us twice now and is brilliant.

I had been going to this medical centre for 2 years with great doctor's. Unfortunately since moving I have had to go to a new medical centre and have tried sending my medical documents from here to the new one. I have had to call 5 times now and they still haven't sent it. I have extensive health problems and the doctor I am seeing now can't do as much to help until they get my medical files. I paid the 15 for them to be sent. Told today it will be sent by the end of the week. Not good enough.

Fantastic medical care. I injured my hand and went there and subsequently went 6 more times over following weeks. Everytime great service and fast. Never hospital again

Just over a week ago my 3 year old had a fall onto her shoulder. She was in pain and had been for a few hours, so my husband and I took her to the St John Urgent Care at Cockburn to get her looked at on a Saturday afternoon. We were seen by a nurse practitioner (I didn’t catch his name, but was a male), who didn’t really even assess the shoulder because my daughter wouldn’t allow anyone to look at or touch it. We were literally told by this nurse practitioner that he was “99.95% sure it’s not broken” and to “take her to see someone in 3-4 days if its not better”. So we were obviously relieved and happily paid the 46.80 and went home. The following day my 3 year old was clearly in pain and was very much favouring her injured arm, but because we were told she was fine, we gave her some nurofen and tried to get her to rest. The morning after, I booked a GP appointment at a different place to get a second opinion because my daughter clearly was NOT fine. This GP was surprised that no X-ray was taken, and immediately sent us for an X-ray, with the instruction to go to emergency if there was a break. There was indeed a break. A completely fractured clavicle. To say I’m angry at the lack of care is very much an understatement. My poor daughter had a fractured bone for nearly 2 days, without receiving proper medical attention because we took the word of a “medical professional”. I’m just so glad that I got a second opinion. Attending Urgent Care Cockburn was supposed to be an alternative to waiting at emergency, but in future I will take my chances and wait at a hospital and be seen by more qualified health professionals. Sorry for the length of this review but I have searched and searched for an email address to make a complaint to, and was unable to find one. I would really love to share the X-rays and report of my 3 year olds “99.95% not broken” clavicle.

I received excellent care and treatment from the Nurse and Doctor on duty. No 'wait time' on a Sunday afternoon, and a very moderate gap fee to pay on this occasion - 20. Impressive service. Thankyou St John Urgent Care.
