Friendly, helpful staff, from reception to ward. Excellent medical care too. .... However the arrival and exit 'ticketing' process at the car park could EASILY be improved with some extra guidance. 1. The car park Ticketing machine lacks any CLEAR instructions for its FAST use (on arrival at the entrance bollard). The instructions are either non existent / or faded away. As a result cars often jam up the entry (see pic) as a first time visitor tries to understand a ticket machine that fails to display clear instructions. i.e One could believe that a Bank Card is inserted to make payment - that's a mistake as the slot on the machine provides a car parking receipt on pressing an oddly marked button. 2. Additionally, simple instructions on how to pay on leaving the Hospital car park are missing. It is unclear that visitors needs to pay somewhere else before attempting to drive away (why not state that on reverse of parking receipt). 3. The location of a place for payment is unknown (no signage anywhere), unless following visitors leaving the car park.

Can't speak highly enough of all the people that I encountered today. From the main receptionist to all the staff, nurses and doctors on level 2 day surgery they were all amazing. Haven't been to hospital for many years and I was terrified. The nurses are so professional I quickly felt relaxed and in good hands. Thank you! Our health care system here is just awesome , I feel so lucky

The hospital and staff are wonderful, but the car parking system leaves a lot to be desired. Yesterday when trying to vacate the car park after picking up my mum from a hospital stay i joined a queue of approx 15 cars while a person at the front tried to use the machine at the front to vacate. After several minutes of waiting in 36 degree heat i called the hospital reception for help, only to be passed on to a rather snappy security woman who said "it would work if the first person used it properly". Eventually the boom gate was raised which was great if people still hadnt insisted on stopping every time to insert their card. Please change these awful ticket machines or better still make a decision to provide free parking! Elizabeth

Had an operation at St John of God this week, the whole experience started by being met at the door by a lovely lady & checked for any symptoms of Covid, directed to admissions where again the experience was positive and respectful. During my stay in the ward my nursing staff were always within earshot and always accommodating with kind words and advice. They were ever present and always professional. Thank you girls and guys for all the hard work you've put in during the current crisis and my stay its very much appreciated.

Was rushed to emergency Friday night. The waiting was the worst but I have nothing but great things to say about the nurses and doctors!! I haven’t been in hospital since I was 3 or so. They were thorough and kind. A huge thank you to Dr Cody Thomas Passier who made my visit comfortable. He was reassuring and downright awesome!! Even went out of his way to check up on me when other doctors took over. He genuinely changed my outlook on hospitals and I’m super thankful for him!
