Pretty cool to see the wind farm up close (even by accident!) Amazing machines creating much needed renewable power. So quiet, so graceful and awesome to look at.

This is one spectacular drive. It's definitely worth taking the long winding track and enjoying the serene environments. The sounds the huge fan structures make and the sheer size of them will make you feel eerie as you drive past it :) Make sure that you have good 4wd tyres as the road is not that easy. You will drive past plenty of sheep and cows slowly, as you won't be able to drive more that 40km/h on the dusty red soil roads.
Closest I've been to one of those. Eerie and majestic at the same time.
