Absolutely beautiful place, my partner and I had a great experience from start to finish. The owner is very helpful, thoughtful and genuinely cares. The cabin is well secluded and the interior is stunning, as well as the view from every room! We loved the fireplace as it got quite cool, there was plenty of wood and tools. All round a great place and we will definitely be coming back, I would highly recommend this for a couple getaway!

This place is a true escape. No mobile reception BRILLIANT! Owners have thought of everything. Nice bbq for dinners and a wood heater to warm you up. One of the best cabins I’ve ever stayed in! Will be back again soon

What a lovely, homely and picturesque place. So tranquil. We made full use of the spa and fireplace and loved our stay. Huge thanks to Ash, for kindly escorting us around, when our car broke down.

When we arrived to Lyrebird Retreat our host Ash was waiting for us outside of the office door. He greeted us with a huge welcome and after exchange of few pleasantries we were holding onto the key to the cottage. Ash was very informative about the wildlife in the area and told us to keep a lookout for the Pademelons. Both hubby and I felt so relaxed when we were there and feel this is the place to return to… We stayed in the Rosella Cottage at the Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat and what a beautiful cottage it is. There is everything you could possibly need and want. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you want should you wish to cook. The spa bath is quite large and the bed is so very comfortable to sleep in. The entire cottage was spotless and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking to get little bit of rest. This cottage is ideal for a honeymoon, as it is completely enveloped by nature, or anniversary as it was in our case 32 years of married life needed a little bit of rest from the everyday. Great place…

Hubby and I stayed here this weekend just gone, it was a birthday present for my hubby from me. We stayed in the Lyrebird cottage, from the moment we walked in the door we fell in love with the cabin and the surrounds. We enjoyed the fire, spa bath (which was huge) and the bed was so comfy, so were the leather couches. It rained most of the weekend which was fine as we intended on staying in and relaxing which is exactly what we did. The wildlife came to visit us on the Saturday night it was lovely just watching the possums on the decking. Loved the rainforest sounds, it was lovely to hear that instead of traffic. We will be back again in September :) Ash was a lovely host with so much informative information about Springbrook. :)

Love this hidden gem Pitta cabin was amazing . Great place for a romantic getaway. Thankyou Ash & Anastasia for a memorable holiday the hamper, chocolates & bubbles were such an unexpected treat . Well here we were up in the Mountains of Springbrook for our 2nd Christmas here at the Lyrebird Retreat, this place has such an incredible atmosphere & it is absolutely amazing to be nestled in the Rainforest with Mother Nature at it's best. See you next Christmas Ash & Anastasia thankyou for your Mountain Hospitality.

The cottages are a great spot to get away for the noise of life. I loved it when I was there in 2015 the women’s touch was wondering with bouquets of flowers through out the cabin freshly picked from the numerous established camellia trees there... it has lost its cosiness and romantic vibe I feel. It was very dark this time in the bowerbird. With all dark furniture and dark floor rug and black throw rug . I found the grounds to be looking more like a storage and children play ground than a national Park . Somewhat untidy... so sad . I could say more ...mould in the bathroom ?? Ureadable instructions for the spa, best before dates 24 days over on the cereal.. :(
