The Tamblyn Academy is a very fun, professional, and respective agency that I have had an exceptional experience with and am looking forward to what work they can give me in the near future.

My daughter had an amazing experience with Tamblyn modeling agency. Beautiful and caring people, they truly take care of those young kids with such professionalism and kindness. Thank you very much for the great opportunity!!
I am very disappointed with the experiencd I had. I paid all fees required and never heard from the agency since. I was reminding about myself, but always have been told that no job for me. I was never promoted. Waist of money and the time.
I have been signed with Tamblyn Model Agency for 1 year now and they have the loveliest staff who are so helpful. I have completed 4 workshops with Tamblyn’s which are very educational and knowledgeable and I absolutely love them. The teachers are so encouraging to their students. I was a Grand Finalist in last year’s Young Model Discovery Competition and was given the opportunity to audition for a casting on the Gold Coast just last weekend, of which I was successful. I highly recommend Tamblyn Model Agency and thank you to all the Team.
WARNING! Modeling agencies make money through the commission of getting models work but Tamblyn makes money off scamming models. They say you need to do the 1000 modeling course before you are worthy of being signed, then you need to pay for photos (220,) then they invite you to a “exclusive invite only” Course (660), then you must pay 330 to be signed to the modeling division. That’s around 2,210 simply for a CHANCE of getting work through Tamblyn models without any guarantee. You may never be contacted again or be able to get enough work to make that money back. What’s worse is there are still ongoing costs. Tamblyn won’t sign a model if they can’t afford the upfront fees meaning they don’t care if you sign with them or not, just that you pay them for it. If you do the courses, no matter you look like they will still offer you the like you the "real faces division” which is for anyone and they make money from signing you. Reputable agencies train models themselves free and don’t charge for management and website listing as they are seen as costs of doing business. Sometimes these fees are taken out of the models pay AFTER they get work from modeling. Modeling agencies that charge management fees upfront are warned as scams. Legitimate modeling agencies do not have handling fees, signing fees, agency fees (outside the commission) or any other kind of upfront before-you-can-be-signed fee. It is never necessary to take a modeling course to become a model. Reputable agencies will train you themselves for free. No professional agency will make you do any grooming and deportment courses, if you are 5'8 and over they might ask you to undertake runway workshops so they can book you for runway and fashion shows. And remember you should NEVER PAY TO JOIN a modeling agency – EVER!
We recently saw quite a few models from Tamblyn for the Kidz Fashion Week Castings on the Gold Coast and we were so impressed by the professionalism and clearly well prepared for runway. Sallie - you have done a terrific job with these guys!
As soon as all the fees paid and workshop paid and attended, I was never contacted by them, ever. Very disappointed experience. Even though I was quiet successful through other sources. They never promote you..
