Absolutely damaging and not helpful! Judgemental and gets things wrong and does not change them even when my wife wrote to her about the report. She ignored her didn't reply to her. The letter to my GP was very damaging to me. I've met Psychiatrist and Psychologist like this who was very opinionated and won't listen to people below them as I am the patient and you are the Doctor attitude. Has her own views and projects them onto others. Not happy.

I don’t normally write reviews but my god I needed to say something. I gave her a chance bc I was desperate and broke and all of her more negative reviews are from 2-3 years ago. HOWEVER she hasn’t changed and misdiagnosed me with bpd when I actually have adhd (I went to another psych bc holy god). Terrible bedside manor definitely not worth the free session. Treated me as lesser than her bc I am mentally ill and just dropped the diagnosis at the end of the session. Not worth your time find someone else!!!
I saw Dr Arnold today. She greeted me at the door before and after the appointment, which I thought was lovely. I found her to be thoroughly competent and very informed about my case. I’d had considerable stress at work and am off at the moment. She told me my options and showed compassion for me and my situation. I would recommend anyone who needs a psychiatric opinion for work matters to see Dr Arnold. Her secretary was also very pleasant. What a relief to finally see someone who knows what they’re talking about. It was also great that they fitted me into her busy schedule. Thanks from Rosalyn
She's LGBT phobic and said some horrible things when I opened up about coming out. Makes you feel like you've done something wrong or your stupid, very judgmental and belittling. Pushing of her own personal views which should not be in a professional setting like this. She honestly just does it for the money, doesn't care about her clients one little bit and it's very obvious. I'm just glad I had other supports in my life and could recognize how toxic she was to my mental health. Don't waste your money, not even worth it for the bulk bill She should be reported and NOT be working with vulnerable people!!!

Dr Arnold is the only psychiatrist I’ve ever seen but she helped me through an extremely challenging time, and saw me through to the other side. She listened and asked me questions, all of which I realised I had the answers to. She was always available and accessible. Is she “warm and fuzzy”? No. But she’ll help you deal with your problem. Thank you Dr Arnold.
The so called doctor is rude her practice smells like b.o..A person who is referred to the women she is given heaps of documentation of past history.and one being on medication for 2 years S4 she says no.so those who want to help them self don't go there.when you mention. You got court matters she won't help cause I think she got mental problem s her self,,,go and air rate your office it stinks
I tried to cancel an appointment with this practice for my partner and was met on the phone by a power tripping Dr Joyce Arnold who patronisingly told me she would bill us a 200 cancelation fee for cancelling what we were told by our GP was a bulk billed appointment but was NOT!!!! Dr Joyce Arnold should not be helping anybody with their mental health.
