Great ride, good instructor, would definitely recommend for a short trail. Perfect for a beginner, they also have pony's for the kids and a variety of horses for the more experienced.

Amazing trail rides and they also have accommodation. Suited to all skill levels or experience. Spring Creek Horse Rides promise a fun-filled and memorable horse riding experience. Owned and operated by Abe Meyers, who took over the reins from his parents in 2016, Spring Creek horse rides’ operate from a sprawling 60-hectare property near Bells Beach located in the beautiful Spring Creek Valley, and stretch into the surrounding Great Otway National Park, along the Great Ocean Road. The expert team are always happy to help, ensuring each rider is paired with one of the well-trained and even-tempered horses. There is a selection of trail rides, ranging from shorter one or two-hour horse rides to all-day horse riding tours, as well as school and corporate horse rides. Trail rides are suited to children as young as seven, they can also offer supervised pony rides for younger children. Spring Creek Horse Rides is also has comfortable, affordable accommodation on their beautiful property, which is owned and operated by Noel and Deb Myers. Accommodation caters to families, groups and couples providing maximum comfort for guests while also endorsing sustainability. The day was well spent and went very quickly. Thanks for the memories!
Fantastic day. Big thanks to Abe for sorting & to Catherine our guide. Beautiful backdrop, Amazing Horses & rad setup. Muscle's i didn't think i had are still sore.. haha.. Would do again for sure.
I surprised my partner for our 6 year anniversary with a 2 hour ride from Spring Creek Horse Rides. Aiden was very helpful with booking and ensuring you was able to get the right ride. The farm itself was easy to find, the signage was well labelled, and the scenery is stunning. The staff are all very helpful and personable, our guide was very attentive to the needs in the group and also very professional. She didn't hesitate to help and really looked after my partner as a beginner rider. The horses are stunning and so personable! I found Buck to be lovely and well suited to my needs (he did get spooked twice by Gretel though, once he did bolt but theyre animals with their own brains, this happens and did not affect my experience). The staff ensured they matched horses well to experience levels and there is a variety of horses available, for children to inexperienced riders to experts. The trails are a good mix of what you'd want to experience on a ride and we did see local wildlife. This is a fabulous experience and I highly recommend!
Was good overall - but little slow for intermediate/experienced riders. Told them we are intermediate riders and we agreed on a faster ride, but it ended up being slower than expected. Not as many trots as we would have liked. The boss took one look at me when I arrived and based on my appearance alone underestimated me & didn’t believe my experience ability (because I didn’t understand the word canter). Didn’t appreciate being Judged. Might be boring for people seeking more of a thrill.
Went for a horse ride with 3 of my friends to celebrate a birthday. None of us had any previous experience. It was wonderful and Emma looked after us so well. We learnt how to ride independently and even trot from time to time. The horses are beautiful and gentle. It is a great experience :)
Good but not great? I went to Spring creek for a friends birthday when i was younger and to say the least, the instructing was shocking. I was put on a horse named Bluebird who seemed very lovely and i very much enjoyed riding him, though my friend was put on a horse called Bailey which she could not control at all as we were pure beginners. They would tell her to yank on the reins and kick as hard as she could and tell her off when she didn't even know what she was doing wrong, this is really the only part of the trail i remember well as the rest was rather boring. I have now been riding 6 years and instruct younger kids and remembering this instructing is honestly painful. Very nice property and trails though and i would definitely come back now that i know how to ride and could have more fun.
Beautiful scene, friendly staff and lovely dog. However I was not sure if the horse was too tired or tripped on something which led to my friend's daughter failed off her horse.
