Great spot to walk to. Birds don't know you are there. 1km walk from junction of cemetary and highway walkway near the bridge, just follow the worn path.

I think an appropriate name would be Spring Creek Bat Hide. Was enjoying the lovely scenery until my partner and I looked up to see bats as far as the eye could see. It was like Alfred Hitchcock's film, but with bats. Not for the faint hearted. Pack spare undergarments. PS I saw two birds and they were lovely.

An observation hut that is located between the freshwater lake and lagoon enables a close-up view of the many water birds that inhabit the area. Clearly marked grass pathway to follow to the hide.
