I was recommended Dr Williams by another doctor. Initially I was apprehensive about seeing him but I can honestly say he is the most caring, easy to talk to doctor. From the moment you step into the place, you feel welcomed. I have come a long way with Dr Williams. He is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever had. I highly recommend him.

Dr Muller & Dr Williams are by far the best psychiatrists I have had the pleasure of seeing. After 28 years of being thrown around from doctor to doctor - I can honestly say that these guys are the best. Incredibly professional, intelligent, down to earth & easy to talk to. Also a big shout out to Bec at reception, who has been SUPER helpful with all of our queries & super friendly & accommodating every time 10/10 clinic
Ascent Psychiatry is very underrated on Google reviews. The moment you step foot in the place it's inviting, calming and Bec the receptionist is so lovely she instantly makes you feel at home. If you want to do the work you need to do in order to get the help that you need Dr Muller & Dr Williams will assist you in every step of the way. 10/10 the best psychiatrist I have seen in my life would reccomend this psychiatry to anyone.
Doctor Muller is a fantastic psychiatrist. He is thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, readily available and cares greatly about the welfare of his patients. I have been seeing him for a few years now and no matter how major or minor my concerns might be, I leave his office feeling like a great weight has lifted. He is a brilliant doctor. I strongly recommend his services. Side note: Ascent has the most relaxing offices I've ever stepped foot in, and the staff are lovely. Genuinely caring people.
Dr Lee Williams treated me for approx a year in 2019 and absolutely changed my life. He was so validating & attentive when I spoke about my past, and the things that still affect me. He provided me with such an accurate diagnosis when so many other health practitioners haven't been able to. He would fully inform me about any aspects he noticed about my traumas, and kept me fully in form and in control of my medications as well. Overall, 10/10, just all round great.
Everyone at this clinic has been very kind and understanding. I would recommend both of these Doctors to anyone.
After moving to the Gold Coast Area recently, I immediately started calling around for a Psychiatrist up here. Over 40 calls and all had waiting times of after Jan or more. I thought I was lucky when I was told by the receptionist that there are positions avaliable within 2 weeks as long as my history and a refferal is sent prior by my gp and ex psych. This info was sent through and they said it would take 3 days for the doctor to review my notes and organize an appointment. 9 days later, after me calling, I finally got an answer. I could not see Dr Lee Williams apparently as my info did not reflect what he practices. Even though the criteria for this doctor on your health in mind refelcted my situation. This seems to be a very pretentious, specialist symptom only clinic. They showed no such duty of care, they did not aid me in anyway further and said I cannot come to their clinic. What sort of institution is this? Does the doctor pre judge his potential clients. There was no respect, empathy or understanding from this clinic. Now I have no idea when I can see a psych. I'm in a very hazardous situation and even the emergency room cannot help with this, they also said the clinic had no right to refuse me. Don't bloody bother with this place. Horrid people, judgemental, lack of understanding especially during these times and they cannot communicate. The words on their hold tone do not reflect their activities. I have made an official complaint to QLD health and other relevant authorities. This is not on. Again do not bother.
The best Psychiatry practice I have ever been to (and probably ever will go to) hands down! I have been to many Psychiatry practices over the years and none of them can compare to Ascent Psychiatry. It's always an extremely pleasant experience every-time I go there for my appointments. Ascent Psychiatry is immaculate inside and there is always beautiful relaxing nature music playing in the waiting room and comfortable/clean couches to sit on. Marie, the very beautiful and wonderful lady at the front desk, is extremely professional at her job and is always very kind and well-spoken. Marie has and is always very warm and welcoming towards me and incredibly helpful. Dr. Lee Williams (Psychiatrist that I see) is exceptional and incredibly professional at his role as a Psychiatrist. I have known him, as a patient now for about 8 years (almost 9), and I can say with great pleasure, that he is and has always been a wonderful human being. I cannot stress enough how Dr. Lee Williams has helped me go from a person that used to hide under their bed, wouldn't leave the house, someone who was riddled with intense anxiety/stress/ extreme depression and cry most days to a more functioning, happier individual who isn't afraid to leave the house and who has a goals and a lot of hope for the future . I cannot say enough good things about Ascent Psychiatry, Marie and Dr. Lee Williams. I highly recommend Ascent Psychiatry and Dr. Lee Williams if you are ever in need of a Psychiatry practice and a wonderful Psychiatrist that will listen to you, take you seriously and help you a lot.
