There’s a little museum inside this 178yr old Mill built by the Coopers family in 1843. Amazing piece of history almost in the middle of nowhere, a mill stands. Passed by in the past paddling the serpentine/Murray. First time inside. Excited. (9/1/20)

Loved it what an amazing location we are so blessed in WA
Well worth a visit if you can get to it!
My early ancestry carted the stones by boat to build this
Beautiful spot. Stayed for the night, lovely and quiet. Caretaker warm and welcoming, and we loved the company of his dog Maggie.
Lovely spot to drop in and check out. Playground for the kids and BBQs also. ablution blocks are also lovely and clean. In the afternoons kangaroos and bandicoots come out for a feed. There is a jetty there to tie up your boat and spend the night if you choose to also. And the night lights from town can be seen from the jetty which makes it an amazing view.
The mill has been beautifully restored with lots of info.
