Horrible company. Slow build, will not take any alteration requests. Even forgot to connect our Gas to the property at handover. Took 2 months before we paid ourselves for someone to do it and had to take them to VCAT to recoup costs. 2 successful VCAT cases in our favour against them and possibly pursuing a 3rd. Would recommend using absolutely anyone else.

Zero attention to detail, worse possible customer service. Poor and dodgy sales reps. Upper management is extremely inconsiderate and will charge you for anything and everything even if its before final drawings. will leave all essentials out of floor plans so when you end up adding them, they cost you fortunates.
Very poor communication. I was told that a consultant would contact me to discuss options and I never got an email or call. Pretty terrible service especially since I was the interested party who reached out to them. Who knows how many hundreds of thousands of dollars in business they've lost.

Disgusting Experience building house with Simonds. Given sales quote without going through the design guildlines by Sales Consultant Chandra Deep. He is the most fake person I have seen in my life. Once deposit is paid, he is not interested in honoring his commitments. Fake promises and lies what you get from this Sales Consultant. Given August Start document but house started in November. Tradies didn’t even know what upgrades I have selected. CRC is rude, unprofessional, poor on customer service & unfriendly. Don’t waste your money with Simonds. My first home experience turned into horrible nightmare. Cancelling last minute appointments and not answering my phone calls and voicemails you will get from their staff. “ AVOID SIMONDS BIG TIME”
Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. They are slack, lazy, terrible to communicate with and have made the entire process of building a home outright terrible. 10months have gone since signing the contract and they havent even begun building yet,consisting a years worth of rent almost. Disgusting work by such a big name builder. Literally go anywhere else.
dont build with simonds, i built with them 5 years ago only to discover water leak from the shower which affected tiles, walls, floorboards, they told me they would fix the issue and on a number of occasions they didnt turn up when they was suppose to making excuse after excuse saying they cant get no tradesmen in? after 3 months to fix a leak the final thing to get the floor finished only to be told now that they dont want to pay for it it is a constant battle with them i would not recommend them to anyone.
There have been problems since the time the contract was signed. The gallery visit, numerous changes in the plan, delays, poor/ no quality check, no/poor response time, careless supervisor and irresponsible Manager. I will not recommend anyone to simonds. PATHETIC...... HORRIBLE......
