Avoid this dry cleaner at all costs. I left a woollen mattress protector and paid in advance (50 but 45 if prepaid). Two weeks later I went there to collect the item and was told they couldn't wash it because it was too big. The problem wasn't that they didn't call to tell me but they left the item uncovered on the floor. When a female staff put it on the table the dust accumulated so much on the item that we both coughed a lot. I didn''t want the dust and dirt ruin my new Mercedes so I brushed the dirt off the item in their shop. A rude male staff with multi coloured hair told me to get out of the premises because of the dust from the item I was trying to brush off. I argued that the dust was rightly belonged to their dry cleaner but he said that there was no dust in their shop and that the dust was from the protector. In response to my complaints about their service he said that 'your home has no dust, right, yeah, your home has no dust'. When I pushed the protector into my car, I coughed due to the dust!!! I am not kidding. I just can't believe that it could gather so much dust (tiny brownish visible micro dust - almost the size of sand, not fine greyish household dust). I would have to discard the mattress protector given the amount of the brownish sand like micro dust now all over and inside the wool. I googled and luckily found a nearby dry cleaner - PRESSTO. The staff there were polite and professional and charged only 38. I am so grateful for PRESSTO, as I was a little surprise that they didn't charge more than that of South Melbourne Dry Cleaner for such a now so dusty item (staff in PRESSTO also coughed while checking the item). I hope my experience here can assist others in choosing their dry cleaners. Thank you.
