I visited Dr Robinson for the first time yesterday, I found him polite and personable and quite down to earth. He was through and professional. He instigated a investigation that should of been done 6 months ago by another surgeon and said he would withhold his opinion until the result was obtained, at last someone I can place some trust in.

I have been seeing Dr Robinson for more than 15 years. During that time he has performed basal thumb fusions (both hands) and surgery on both shoulders - one in 2016 and the most recent a week ago (Jan 28, 2021). I have absolute faith in his knowledge and experience and highly recommend him.

My brother is the most experienced Upper Limb Orthopaedic Surgeon and Micro Surgeon in the World. He lost his eldest daughter(my eldest niece)So if you have a problem with his experience best you go find someone else.Mark has trained every Orthopaedic Surgeon here in Queensland. If you have a problem with his bedside manner he is only doing his job.He has to deal with losing his eldest daughter every day.Have some compassion. His Sister Sue.

I'm so greatful for the support and clear guidance Dr Robinson gave me. He was very charming to talk to. I was feeling very flustered from a doctors previous diagnosis and Dr Mark Robinson put my mind at ease. Im very grateful for this. He is a very experienced doctor and I found him very caring and look forward to his next review. My story.. Ive had a work injury 8 odd months ago in my shoulder - bursitis, and had been told by another doctor that my injury was a tendon tear and was due to age. There would be nothing he could do to help, and this wasn't part of my work injury and id have to leave my job. Workcover wouldn't cover me, now considered as an out of work place injury. I decided to get a second opinion. I went to see Dr Mark Robinson. He made me feel like I was a 21yr old, I am 50. He said he can help with an operation and physio would help. Dr Robinson explained my injury fully to me, he said this injury is due to my work injury 8 months ago. Its in the same spot as the bursitis, its not a tear but more of a fibre split. Just when I thought my working career was over. Thank you Dr Mark Robinson. Brigid.

Failed thumb surgery to try to reconnect nerve. Still cannot even straighten thumb. Waste of money and time.

My partner saw Mark for a shoulder injury through work cover and if it had been under other circumstances we would not have seen him. Extremely rude receptionist. You will be waiting for over an hour to be seen for 10 minutes. Horrible service and a gentlemen who had a booking 15 minutes after us went in before us. Asked my partner to get yet another steroid injection despite receiving no relief the first time which offered no relief yet again and booked a follow up a month later. Clearly terrible record keeping. Would not recommend.

I have had Dr Robinson place a plate in my shoulder back in 2013. I returned to see him with my hand having my thumb operated on. My husband now also sees him for his shoulders. I would reconvened Dr Robinson to anybody requiring an upper limb specialist.
