I mean, I like South Africans. They’re super racist, obviously, but you have to admire what the Afrikaans did leading up to leaving the Commonwealth. They spent like a good generation or two infiltrating the civil service so that even though the British were nominally in charge, they really ran the show. It seems like a good plan for taking over a society. You have to respect that, even if it did lead to Apartheid.
