Decided to head to Smithtown pub for lunch as nearby Gladstone pub was fully booked out. Food was basic and uninviting. Kids nuggets were microwavable "dinosaur" nuggets. 1 star for the food, 2 stars for Brookvale Union Ginger Beer on tap.

Higher end of traditional hotel pub dining. Authentic local buzz.... Traditional menu, nicely presented tasty food. Good hot and chunky chips.
Checked in for a pub lunch, awesome day, food was very nice and the beers cold! Always good to spend some money in our smaller towns
Came here for a great pub feed and wasn’t disappointed. The “ocean and earth” (rump topped with salt and pepper squid) was amazing. The meals were big and fulfilling!
Portion size is not to bad. Flavours were good. I didnt pay attention when ordering a stir fry that I needed to order the rice/ noodles over and above, if I wanted them. I think the meal would have been better if I got a little less stir fry but the rice or noodle was included. The eating area was nice and clean. ,The outdoor area was nice and tidy and welcoming. With a nice play area for kids. I would recommend a better defined smoking only area. But overall a nice place to go
