My father is one of the residents here and due to covid-19 they neglected my elederly father very severely. He was not fed or showered adequately. Due to this negligence, he now has bruises all over his body. The lady looking after him named Dina is very rude and has a racial prejudice against my father. I would stay away from this nursing home. They can not get their acts together and im in the process of transferring my father to another aged care home.

Being a very emotional time, having our parents age and become fragile, the decision to find accommodation for our loved ones can be very difficult. The entire team at SummitCare Smithfield have been very accommodating, helpful, informative and understanding. Communication is always open and very regular. I’m extremely grateful for their care and help with my dad.
