We are delighted with our relocation experience with Crown. Our's was an interstate move and included a car and motorbike with the destination being a townhouse over 3 levels with stairs. From beginning to end we were very satisfied with the service and communication offered by Crown and their partners. The hands-on team packaged our possessions with friendly but professional care and courtesy. The lift and shift was executed on schedule and without a scratch. Every person we had contact with (10 all-told) were great people to deal with. Thank you to Samantha, Sarah and the entire Crown team for making our relocation as easy as it was.

These guys completely blocked the footpath with their ramp, forcing anyone with a pram to walk around the truck onto a fairly busy road. All they had to do was move it a foot back and it wouldn’t have made their lives any harder. Super dodgy and unsafe and when I called, customer service was unhelpful.

Am currently an unsatisfied customer of Crown Relocations - moving from Singapore to Sydney, we chose the service as they promised a relatively fast timeline and the salesperson was quick to cater to our needs. We switched from a more local mover to an international one, expecting it to be more trustworthy. Boy, were we’re wrong. Once payment was made, there service stopped. Their promised arrival date range is looking to be late by over 1 month. We had to chase our mobility advisor for updates constantly. And once our packages left Singapore, the responses dropped even lower. We had to track outlet ship daily on progress as no one would tell us what is happening. When the ship is delayed by more 2 weeks, there was no update and we had to enquiry on the reason. At this point, we are living out of our luggages in Sydney, my kids are asking why they can’t play with their toys, we are racking up a massive bill on hotel fees/food - we have a place but no furniture or furnishings. We asked what is the delay and their answer? Covid loh. Asked them what can they do? Too bad lah. Ask to speak to their manager, no call back. What are we to do while stranded here in a new country? I’m utterly gutted by how our new life has started and Crown has played a major hand in making it so. So while I’m waiting endlessly for my stuff, I’m taking the chance to warn any and everyone that if they are moving anywhere, to choose ANYBODY else.

As a real estate agent, I liaise with moving companies on a weekly basis & today, I was totally disappointed with Crown staff who refused to carry my tenants items from the garage door to the lift area! In the same block, we have had over 70 tenants moving in & out and never ever experienced such inconvenience. I do not recommend this company to anyone!

For our move from Sydney to Switzerland, we enquired quotes with 4 different moving companies. We decided to go with Crown Relocations as they were by far the best when it came to sympathy and service. We let them know and started the whole process. Already filled all forms by hand (which took a lot of time), they already confirmed that the money will be charged soon. All of a sudden, I received a phone call saying that there was a mistake and they forgot to add the destination fee in the quote, which was a difference of A 4,000 (!!!). At that stage of course we didn't want to start from scratch. We also know that mistakes happen, but they didn't want to agree to the original quote (which I completely understand), but they also didn't want to match the quote of our second choice mover (which was exactly in the middle of their original and their "new" price) and they didn't even offered some kind of reduction! Very very disappointing and frustrating to now go with another company. No goodwill or even trying to keep us as customers - very poor!

Simply horrible! Crown helped me move across Tasman from New Zealand, it was a very pleased experience up until I need to file an insurance claim for damaged goods. Person who is in charged of the claiming isn't very helpful, I would need to wait for weeks and go back to her for an update. Every time she will come back with, I will update you next 24 hrs / next 48 hrs ..etc but NEVER keep her promise, simply unacceptable.

We used Crown to relocate from NZ to Sydney, and it has been by far the worst experience I have ever had the displeasure of using. Let's brake down the lies 1. You Wil be given a move manager who will contact you at ever aspect of the move. Nope. I had to initiate ever contact, and Once our shipment left NZ I had no idea who or where our goods where. I was forwarded to different emails and when I tried to complain, sorry can't do that either, no reply..... 2. It will take 6 weeks. Nope. 9 weeks.... For a 4 day sailing time. 9 long weeks with no furniture. 3. You will be with crown on both sides of the tasman. Nope. Our delivery was out sourced to some company with had no idea about. 4. On packing they removed our couch legs (unscrewed base as well) and was told it will be reassembled when arrived, nope. Not even touched, in fact they left the couch in the garage and not even brought in. 5. We paid extra to have it unpacked and packaging taken away. Once box's in. One person said "I guess you want us to unpack it now?" umm yes, that's what we paid for. They way he rolled his eyes and let out the biggest sigh.... 6. Our bed assembled wrong so we had to re do. 7. My wife's computer was broken in the move, not settled yet, but I'm Not holding my breath.... So don't bother. They charge you more, don't bother to keep any of the sales pitch promises. I would love to talk to some one about this, but again contact is not there strong point, even after I tried to rise the issue.

Stay away from them! To say we were dissatisfied with the service would be a huge understatement. we have had relocated a few times and never had any issues. We hired them to ship our belongings from Singapore to Sydney and here is what went wrong. 1. Quote – we were quoted over the phone 8cbm. Our shipment ended up being 12.7 cbm. Substantial volume and price difference. 2. Communication – was appalling. We had to chase for every update. forms were not check and were returned by customs etc 3. Timing of shipment – we were told it should take 6-8 weeks. Reasonable time frame considering it took 6 weeks to get our stuff from Sydney to London . We received our shipment exactly 3 months later!! My baby has outgrown clothes that were in the shipment! 5.\tLost items – half of my shoe collection was missing. This include Chanel, Tods, Gucci, Giuseppe Zanotti etc. All shoes were in boxes so we are not talking about a few random items that could have been misplaced. Two large boxes have gone missing and shipping company I trusted with my possessions had no clue! 6. in all the mess with communication we didn't get the crown insurance and therefore we were not compensated. Thousand of dollars worth of goods were stolen and all we got "sorry for your experience". Do your research and stay away from this guys.
