Very fresh meat and vegetables of your choice find in front of you. It's a different sort of experience! You can go back as many times as you like all for one price. The staff are very friendly and attentive though not overbearingly. Get there early and you won't have to wait in line for your meal to be cooked.

Great fresh meats and vegetables. Love being able to customise exactly what goes on my plate down to the sauces. Service is great and normally not too busy. Keep coming back for the deep fried ice cream! Food in the hotbox can sometimes be a bit dry - probably from being under the heat lamps, but other than that no complaints. The quality of the rest of the food available is fantastic. Been many times and before and will definitely keep coming back.
We were looking for a last minute place for a couple of families and thought we'd give this a go. Glad we did, as everyone liked it. We went on a Saturday night and had the 'make your own meal' buffet as well as access to the hotbox containing spring rolls, wings, thin Singapore noodles, chips. Definitely look at the recipe suggestions when making your dish up to be cooked on the 'shield'. You need plenty of fluid as they don't add oil, so while you might put some in yourself (such as sesame), it's mainly steamed using your flavored water. After several bowls, you might think it's starting to taste the same (and since you are making from the ingredients you like and picked, that's to be expected). But since you are probably full now anyway, it shouldn't matter. The wings are a little oily from the deep frier, but they are nice with a little sauce. I saw the dessert hotpots (steamboats), which are really just exotic fondue containers, but couldn't fit anymore in to seriously think about ordering one. Maybe next time.... as everyone wants to go back again.
Great for something different, choose meats, vegetables and sauces yourself then give them to the chef to cook on a huge hotplate while you watch. All you can eat. The chocolate hotpot for desert is definitely worth it.

So tasty and fresh and customisable! Didn't even know this hidden gem was just around the corner. Will definitely be back!
Now, obviously this is not a 5 Star Restaurant, but for what it is it is a good night out once in a while. The staff was friendly and attentive, cleanliness - as suggested by other reviewers - was not an issue at all and the food on offer was enough to create four distinctly different dishes with the help of two chefs walking my composition around the gas-fired BBQ.
