Caretaker is a potential COVID super spreader. Caretaker comes to collect the money around 5pm. She forces you to have your temperature taken. If you do not, she throws you out. She is not wearing a mask or gloves, and for each person after person she breaches physical distancing. She then tells you it’s law for her to check your temperature. Her safety protocols are misguided. Wear a mask and gloves if you if you are going to be within centimeters of 50 different people’s faces. If someone tests high, it’s too late for you, and the next person who is forced to have your dirty hand in their face. The parking is now 30 for a powered site. If we knew this we would of stayed at the caravan park for 38. There is no camp kitchen, no laundry, no dump point, no pool, no lighting, no BBQ, no shade. If it rains, the paddock turns into a mud bath. The toilets are seemingly new, but had plenty of bugs on the ground, due to lack of cleaning. Maybe the caretaker is too worried about preventing COVID rather than cleaning.
Level ground to set up on. Bit higlydy piglydey the night we stayed caused by others staying that only care about themselves taking up 2 or 3 sites and leaving no access to power or water.
A little over priced for a show ground would probably stay in the future at the caravan park just up the road at the same price with better/more facilities
Great camping option in Singleton which we have used a couple of times. Interesting showground located in the middle of town. Plenty of space for tents and alternative camping options to caravans. The facilities look a little average on the outside, but internally they are fine. Care taker calls round late afternoon to collect fees. Plus, very handy for the Singleton Parkrun on Saturday mornings.
Great park close to club. Spacious and flat. Very popular. 25 for power.
A well maintained show ground very tidy.
Top spot, plenty of room. Close to town. Ammenaties are clean and tidy. Park managers are helpful and friendly.
