The initial sales rep was very helpful, but the company did not follow through on the promised installation date. The rep who undertook the window measurements somewhat smugly told us that our renovation would not be ready on the day we requested installation. When we insisted it would be, he said that he would ‘pencil it in.’ The day came but Shutters Australia did not. A call to them was met with an evasive excuse that the shutters were still being manufactured. Apart from price, the main reason we chose Shutters Australia was because of their promised fast-turn around and installation. In the end the shutters were installed a week later than promised. Worse, the installer did not adequately clean up afterwards, leaving tiny metal shards on the floor which we are still finding all over the house. And one of the magnets which keep the shutters closed fell out after one day. Overall a disappointing customer experience which did not match the professionalism of the original sales rep.

I did my research and got a few quotes for outdoor straight drop awnings. Went with ShuttersAust as they have a lifetime warranty on parts and a 10 year warranty on the fabric and a 2 week guarantee installation timeframe. Other places only offered 12 months or 5 years warranty and up to 6 weeks lead time. Sales person was friendly and the installers were efficient. Highly recommended!

I would recommend Shutters Australia to anyone, they were recommended to me for my shutters which I had installed a few weeks ago which are beautiful Scott was amazing on the day of installation. The whole process from quote to installation was very professional.
Absolutely dreadful service. Quick to take our money with 3 awnings. And after a faulty installation, we have been without and awning all summer. Do not use these people if you want any sort of after service care.
