Ate here on a Saturday morning during COVID. Tables are well spaced but several have wheels on the bottom. Wheels don’t lock so the table moves when bumped which made eating a little tricky. The mocha coffee was a good balance between bitter and sweet. The food was good also. The corn fritters were different but surprisingly tasty and it’s hard to make a poor shashuka. The sourdough came out over toasted and hard as a rock but when requested, the service staff happily replaced with two lesser toasted slices. The cafe accommodates kids and has a number of high chairs available.

The best shakshuka! After the trip of Israel, I feel this place is the best. This is not the exact same as the one we had in Israel, but great mix of spices and Australian ingredients. Coffee was also great. Stuff are friendly and nice.

When they first opened, my mother asked for hot water instead of the usual tap water, they charged her 4 because it had a slice of lemon in it. They didn't tell her there was going to be a charge. We have never been charged for hot water ever in Aus. Never visiting again.

Unfortunately the shuk at the Chatswood location is much lower quality than the shuk cafes at Bondi or Elizabeth Bay. We had the hummus w lamb and falafel w salatim. Bread was drier than normal and presentation wasn’t as great. Staff were polite and friendly but this doesn’t make up for quality to be lower than at other branches.

Great food at Shuk. The place is really busy, especially on weekends. I’d recommend booking a table if you can, I was able to book one at 7 for 10 that day. The prices are average, not cheap but not too expensive. I love the lamb, it’s delicious.

Nice place for brunch. The chorizo in the shakshuka was too salty for me.

The cafe was packed when we arrived and we could see that there was a small crowd waiting. However, we got our table rather quickly. Food and coffee was ok but service is good. They proactively made sure our water bottle is full and replaced it a few times- that made me happy . We also enjoyed the outdoor area.
