Super fast Delivery. Docketed in Sydney at 5.24 pm and arrived at my door 9.30 am in country Vic. the following day. Great service.

Came home and saw Direct freight had left a consignment note saying we missed the delivery, cool, no worries at all, go on their website to arrange pick up from the local depot as I will be running around town the next day. Go to the depot and couldn't find anyone working their, call the phone number only to find out that there is only 1 person working and the depot and he was out doing deliveries. \u200d️ Think ok I will come back later and pick it up when he gets back. I go back and hour and a half later to pick it up to find out they have loaded it onto a truck to be delivered again. No notice thats its trying to be delivered, no message or phone call. Use any other freight company unless you want your time wasted if you miss your delivery. Will not use again.

I was left a sorry we missed you card, I tried the website they have on the card to arrange a new time/pick up at the depot but it was telling me my consignment note number or my name was wrong. Tried again the following morning with the same result. I called their customer service to be told that they allowed someone by the name of Gerard to sign for my delivery, the only person at the address is me and the only person who was supposed to be allowed to sign was me. The customer service Lady was shocked when I angry but arranged a follow up call after she had spoken with my local depot. Received a call back, lady was extremely rude this time. The notes left were an "error" and the item was with the driver again, when I asked if it could be delivered after 12pm I was abruptly told it was a 9-5 service and it was when he was in the area. I advised them to just leave it out the front and she went through the standard indemnity waiver. No apology offered. Will be ensuring that I never use a company who uses them as their freight comapny again.
