Fabulous day out enjoying a ride on a steam train at the SheffieldSteam& Heritagecentre. Friendly staff, excellent value for the family and a lot of fun going for a ride on a fully functioning and working steam train, highly recommended as a great day out.

A short but exciting trip on a steam train. Staff are friendly and offered for us to ride on the plate with the driver. Knowledgeable of other local attractions.

Fabulous array of steam engines on display, including steam rollers and stationary engines. Large amount of local stalls and rides for the children. Steam train rides for the big and little kids. Brilliant weekend.

The 25th anniversary was the best Steamfest ever. It was my 7th consecutive visit and won't be the last. Wonderful displays of steam engines, and also a variety of items like horses, crafts, oxen pipe band, army band, food and drink, tools and equipment from many years. All this organised to perfection. A must see!
