Chris at Sharpnr is a Jedi of Steel. Sure, he reset the edges on my kitchen knives. But the really transformational thing was he explained to me how a good sharpening steel worked and then how to use it. The German saphire-coated steel he set me up with has been almost life changing. Now all my knives come out of the draw and with a few gentle flicks are razor sharp. I haven't enjoyed day-to-day cooking as much in years. Thank you.

Cutting edge service with Chris! !! I have been taking my and all the chefs knives from The Mint Bar & Restaurant to Chris for the past three years and he always bringing them back to life in the most professional way. He is very reliable and happy to give advices on how to look after our tools. As a Chef I would definitely recommend his service. Find him Thursday and Friday at Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne.
Chris has been taking care of my Hand made Japanese knives (11) for more than 2 years, they have improved, not declined. His advice on the care and maintance has been invaluable and pricing has been very reasonable. I have used other sharpening services in the past, but never again. Keep up the pride in your work.

I have been barbering and hairdressing for the past 30 years. I have had my scissors and clippers sharpened and balanced by many service providers over those years. Some good, some not so good and some real cowboys who claim to know how to service these precision tools, but really have no idea or skill at all, which costs you more in the end, to replace them.
