Everything about this place from the teacher Michelle, quality of the lesson and tools, organisation, communication, the studio (very clean, bright, AC and cute dog!) and location is a five star for me. Extra bonus points because the size of the class was only 2 people for our lesson which was perfect for a beginners class so all our newbie questions got answered! Melissa was helpful and responsive from day one re getting there, things to prep for and just being exactly the kind of friendly small business owner that you know has the passion for it. Highly recommend for any sewing class!

After doing a resin jewellery course with Nadine, I have taken up resin as a craft. I wanted to learn more about mold making to further my resin craft and I wasn't disappointed. The class was fun and informative. Thank you for the follow-up notes. Thank you for letting me geek out and make a star wars mold. I love it and I love the results.

I did the beginner sewing workshop with my teenager daughter and we both had a ball! The key features of how to use your sewing machine were explained thoroughly whilst creating a beautiful cushion to take home. The workshop space is very comfortable and relaxed, with a teacher who is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. A wonderful experience, that has instilled an enthusiasm for the next challenge offered at Sew Make Create.

Wanted to learn how to use sewing machine with an aspiration to be a dressmaker. Even though I was an absolute beginner they were very understanding and patience with each steps. Of course it was a very enjoyable class. Today I have redesigned and upformed a skirt that I have bought from an op-shop! So anyone who would like to learn to use the machine or want to try a new thing and to get a new skill, please visit!

My wife bought me a beginners crochet session at the start of the year after I had spent months trying in vain to teach myself, finally giving up because I thought it was impossible to learn. Within the first 10 minutes of the class, my instructor was able to easily correct my technique and I was making granny squares in no time! The instructor was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer any and all questions, no matter how silly they may have seemed. This one course gave me the skills to push forward on my own, and the confidence to really challenge myself over the last few months. I'm now making toys, blankets and trying out all sorts of techniques that would have felt way out of my league in the past. Halfway through the Scheepjes crochet-along and having a ball! The whole vibe of Sew Make Create is incredibly welcoming and calm. I really look forward to many more visits in the future & can't recommend them enough.
