Hello, and Happy New year to all of you. The three star rating is purely for the Gym. Anybody that has done any form of weight training /body building. (Not Weight Lifting) will endorse the following. A Gym should not be Air conditioned to the extent that you are feeling cold. A Gym is a place where you work hard to develop a sweat, burn fat, and condition your body, and hopefully achieve your required goals. Air conditioning stops all of the above. At Armadale aquatic center (Gym) not only do you have the Air con, you also have fans blowing, which exaggerate the cold temperature. I personally have used and trained with weights the majority of my life. I find it most uncomfortable, when I do eventually obtain a sweat and a cold fan is blowing on my body. See attached, photo, that says, the more you sweat, gets rid of harmful substances within your body. A Cardio workout, presumably, makes your Heart beat faster, which in turn generates heat. However you cannot generate heat when the Air Con is making you feel cold. To Quote my attachment. "Working in an A.C. gym, could cause muscle tear" Unquote To reiterate, one wants to burn calories, not work in a cold atmosphere. And to add to the discomfort, listen to music that eventually will give you hearing problems. I would really love your feedback. Kind regards David.

Staff are super friendly. The centre is clean and has all the facilities you need from gym; program pool; spa/steam/sauna plus both indoor and outdoor pools are heated. If you hold a membership, you're able to pre-book exercise classes and also track your fitness levels.

Good place to get your muscles pump. Very reasonable membership pricing compared to their competitors. If you like swimming laps or just walking there are plenty of lanes to yourself. If you are member donot forget to take advantage of free lessons and affordable instructors. Parking is bit limited though.

Excellent & well thought out facilities for fitness & well being. The gymnasium is fitted out with all the latest exercise equipment as well as a cycle room. The various pools are fantastic for water walking as well as swimming. The Steam room & Spa add to the overall experience.

Wonderful place, very clean. Great facilities and the cafe has a great selection. Lots of pools to choose from, friendly staff. Heaps of parking. Have my kids in swim school and they love it. Swim teachers give regular feedback to the kids and parents.

Having experienced the noisy water-features of the Cockburn Aquatic Centre, I was not expecting much better from the Armadale one but, boy, was I surprised. The modern, clean and family-friendly Centre is definitely on the list for a revisit as the facilities are well-managed with inviting reception staff and vigilant life guards who quickly and quietly put an end the the noise created by rambunctious teens. Well done, City of Armadale.
