Some divine intervention made us stop at Mitchell's on Easter Monday instead of our planned winery slightly further on. We had the most glorious experience. Caring family run winery staff going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had all that we needed. We enjoyed glasses of wine not previously tried and a very tasty cheese platter Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. .

We always prefer smaller wineries that are not in top 5 because usually it has less traffic, family atmosphere and this place was exactly what were looking for - very cosy place, delicious wine, the cheese plate was really nice, friendly local dog was sitting with us till the last bite, we would come back for sure!
I like this winery a lot. We arrived on e-bikes and it was obvious we were not there to buy wine. This place is very layed back, and exactly what we were looking for. Although out of some of the ingredients that make up their usual cheese board, Hillary just offered us a discount to make up for it. I have not been served by someone this relaxed since I bought a pizza in Nimbin. I love that. My wife obviously liked the wine because she bought a couple of bottles even though they would need to be carried in a backpack. I don't know if I should ever go back, because I don't want to risk spoiling the memory.

Mitchell Wines was a wonderful experience. Personalised service from Jane, great knowledge, beautiful wines, dog friendly and enjoyed a cheese platter in the autumn sun with aged Riesling and Shiraz. Will be back !
Its now winter, so the tasting area was set for cosy! This place has to win best cheese platter for me. Their premium Riesling was superb and different - very complex and slightly oaked.
Absolutely lovely wines (best Reisling I have ever had). Fantastic staff and good cheesy options for mulling your wine purchases. Came on the recommendation of Vinomofo and was one of the best vineyards I visited on my holiday. Thoroughly recommend to anyone considering it.
Lovely and elegant tasting experience. Very understated and sophisticated. Jane is an outstanding hostess. Recommended.
