Came here in September, approximately 6 months post firesS and in middle of covid19. They have slightly adjusted open hours and show times which are updated on their website. Despite lower tourism in recent months it was pleasing to see a good turnout of about 20 people. We opted for the 1130 raptor show (birds of prey) and then the 1pm snake show (two adults for both shows 74). The raptor show included a range of owls, falcons and eagles in addition to other birds of prey and the two two presenters Chantelle and Blake were very knowledgeable and great entertainers. If you were sitting in the front row, some of the birds early on could jump into your lap and if you were further back, you could join in and hold some of the birds. At the end of the show you could hold a wedge tailed eagle for an additional 10. Well worth the spend. The time between the shows is good to grab food and highly recommend ordering before the first show as the wait can be 20-30min for the one-man show at Kl tuckerbox. Chantelle took us for the snake/venomous animals show where she initially showed us the Sydney funnel web spider and educated us on spiders in general before showing us the two venomous snakes on the island and then proceeding to non-venomous pythons and lizards that we could all hold. Very lovely and educational experience. All round very happy with the day and well worth the spend for it. Recommend it on anyone's trip to Kl.

Wild birds are meant to be free not in captivity and being forced to do shows for education. I'm not a supporter of animal cruelty because I love animals and it's so much better to see them where they belong I know some people think animals are happy in captivity but if you take the time to learn about how they really feel you'll see otherwise. It's not right to force them into submission or deprive them of food unless they do what you want. They're not entertainers or performers and it's wrong to treat them like that.

Raptor Domain is a must do when touring Kangaroo Island. Very interactive where you have the opportunity to hold a variety of birds. They don't take bookings so turn up early to secure a spot especially during school holidays. Don't miss out on this fabulous show!

Great fun and very informative. Bring the kids too. The staff have genuine love for animals and it shows. Shows were interesting and informative with a variety of cool birds. You get to interact with some, an owl walls on your knees, while you can hold others using a glove. You can also take pictures with a wedge tail eagle who is quite large and majestic. You can also see scorpions, spiders, and snakes if that is more your thing. Snakes and lizards can also be held. Awesome experience overall, highly recommend

We had a private viewing and it was spectacular. We could hold the birds, pat some, and had an instructor all to ourselves. A magnificent experience!
