I went through the complete program last year, and my productions have improved dramatically. All the tutors are really great guys and all working in the industry, and know what they are talking about. YouTube videos are fine but can only take you so far, so if you are serious about music production and lucky enough to live in Melbourne I highly recommend SOS.

I really enjoyed my experience with SOS. Starting with next to no music theory or production knowledge, the tutors; James, Shaun and Davide, were able to provide me with a strong foundation to start my engineering journey. It's a very supportive learning environment and the tutors are all extremely approachable and happy to take the time where it counts. If you have a specific question, they will be able to answer it clearly in a way to help you understand. To anyone starting out in the music industry, I would definitely recommend SOS. Even to experienced musicians and producers, it's a great place to learn new tricks from veteran producers, all with different musical backgrounds.
I did the 2 day beginner DJ course, and it was great ! A lot of fun and and very informative! highly recommend ! I am looking forward to doing another course at a later date!
The production masterclass took me from guess work to real confidence. In the years since doing the course everything i've produced has been dramatically better than what I was doing before the course. This course was what enabled me to get to a stage with my mixes where I was truly satisfied.
I did the SOS DJ course. Leroy was an amazing tutor :) He has plenty of experience and took the time to ensure that the course met my expectations and more. The value that I got out of this course was amazing. He has set me up with so much knowledge. And I'd just like to say thank you. :) Amelia
The production masterclass perfectly consolidate the knowledge I already had and expanded it to a much more professional level. The intimate class size made the learning experience a very open and personable one. Highly recommend it to anyone thinking of taking part and remember your seat is exclusive so choose wisely on week one my young padawan....
I've done 4 courses at SOS so far and they have taught me so much! I would really recommend this school if you would like to deepen your knowledge in music production. The classes are small so you get a very hands on learning experience and the teachers are attentive, friendly and very skilled in what they do.
