The only reason the rating went from one to two stars is because the Spanish meatballs and large version of beef cheeks is pretty good.. All these high star ratings though, is it the half a conversation and a smile from the server? Or is it the ambience you get when you’ve got more than 2 friends (there’s a 4 minimum for the luxury of a balcony) because if there’s 4 or more of you, that’s the only way you’re sitting under a string of lights to slowly get sloshed. Speaking of which... I like alcohol in my sangria, and you would think spending 28.00 on one pitcher you’d get some. But nah, could have driven home after 4 pitchers to myself and still been .03 Leave out the potatoes with aioli from your order, it’s better to just buy the McCain’s frozen chunks and drizzle your own over it. Which, is what it seems like. The bread was okay, but you can buy it from a bakery. The olives are good, but, you can buy those from the local deli. And heaven forbid you ask for a clean plate with your tapas, because ‘we don’t do that here’.. Side note, I did eventually get a clean plate. Lucky for me. Truly, this isn’t the only joint in town, and I’m convinced the people giving the ratings think that it is.

Tried the feed me option for 50 pp. Comes with a selection of tapas for entree and paella for the main, plus 4 churros for dessert. The option also comes with sangria or beer. Food was pretty decent, portion sizes were enough to make you full, but the cost isn't probably worth 100 for 2 people.
I would have given this place 5 stars if the service/wait time was a little better. That being said really did love this place! [The pros] -They have a great allergy friendly menu - Garlic and onion free specific menu, as well as gf churros! - The food was fantastic; beautifully presented (honestly magazine quality) and quite filling. - Outdoor seating area is quite quaint and picturesque at dusk - Great place for a social gathering as it is quiet for good conversation - Would also be good for a small event to book out :) [The cons] -Took over 25 minutes to have someone come to the table to take our order - Did not received table water until the entres arrived almost 1hr after being there. - A few times had to go pick our own cutlery from the servers side table as napkins and cutlery were not replaced when tapas dishes were taken or new ones brought out - Almost 2 hours before desert arrived (we almost left before it did come out as it had been so long). But it was worth the wait. - The super cute outdoor area has a sewer smell every now and then (assume it's from a nearby building) The staff brought out incense to cover it when it did. -Stools at table are uncomfortable after being in them for a while. - Some sangria cocktails were a little watered down (may have been due to the ice)
We were greeted warmly and promptly taken to our table. It was a busy night and we did not have a booking. The waitress kindly let us know there may be a delay in our meal service due to the busy night. We order the Chefs Selection - 6 tastes and a drink. We opted for a mocktail instead of alcoholic sangria. The delay was no more than any other popular restaurant and in fact we felt they were quite prompt in our first dishes. The food was delicious - our favourite was the pork ribs. So flavoursome, but also light. Well priced, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the best food!
It was lovely. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly. I can highly recommend their afragatto
Wonderful food and service. The only big disappointment were the churros - 20 for two serves - which unbeknownst to us was only 4 average sized churros! That’s 5 for one sliver of fries choux pastry. Such a shame to walk away feeling rippped off after what was otherwise a wonderful meal.
Consistently good service and quality of food. Lots of vegetarian options, an interesting alcohol selection, and good portion sizes. Always enjoy coming here, second birthday celebration dinner in a row this year!
Great spot, great food
