Seriously great atmosphere. Just right aged lady is extremely hospitable, Super friendly and very hands on involved in her Cafe. Very great quality food and coffee, everything super fresh, care taken for presentation, great poached egg on eggs Benedict, clear view of beach and super friendly staff. Prices are just right, portions were same. Served our party of 16 very well at 10am. Seems the place is being review bombed a bit on some places. Note they are looking for new chef according to sign, hope they find someone who does the place justice.

This is the third time I have enjoyed a meal here. The food is creative, clean and fresh. The coffee is smooth and brewed to perfection. The staff and owner are so hospitable, nothing is too hard for them. I will be back again.

Absolutely incredible service! We had some issues with our coffee and I cannot thank the staff and owner enough for how they handled it! The owner was so lovely toward my son as well! Really felt like family! BEST breakfast in Sandgate too!
I’ve been here twice. Thought the first time was a bit average and overpriced but tried again last Friday to give them another chance. The location is lovely but the service was a bit average, they completely forgot our order and drinks. When our wraps arrived they were soggy and bland, and my partner said his chicken tasted fishy. We shared a side of chips which we discovered had chunks of fried meat in it, which turned my stomach as I’m vegetarian. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t try this place a third time.
Great cafe, beautiful spot near the ocean. All junior staff are amazing, very helpful even when still learning. One staff member that was of the older generation was extremely rude and condescending in front of us towards younger staff members- not a great look for the cafe, if we hadn’t already ordered we wouldn’t be staying. It’s hard enough to learn something new without condescending comments being made about minor things (like a streak on the table from where it had prior been wipe and a missing cutlery set). All in all will be back purely just to support junior staff.
Have been wanting to visit this cafe for absolutely ages and today we finally went, and so glad we did! What a beautiful spot for lunch! We ate outside with a seabreeze and an ocean view, just gorgeous! The owner is super friendly and accommodating and made us feel so special. The cafe is modern and trendy with a relaxed feel, and I had trouble choosing a meal everything sounded delicious. I can recommend the poke bowl with salmon and the kids' pancakes vanished quickly! The kids were given a complimentary gingerbread man biscuit to take away, which they ate by the seaside. Will definitely be back soon, thank you Baaia!
