If visiting Phillip island this is a great place to come visit. Get there 30 mins before feeding time to get a great viewing spot. It's amazing for the whole family to see the pelicans at feeding time. Pretty unique and special experience. The fish and chips up the road who feed the pelicans is delish & fresh

I think it is a great attraction. Kids certainly loved it.

They should've updated this Google "Business" to say it's not happening on 12pm due to covid. We came and waited especially for that, when the Fishermen Co-op woman came and said they won't do a public feeding at 12. Shame. **Update after their reply:** only Google Map's 'About' tab says it's postponed. Better remove the 12pm altogether and have it say 'Permanently closed' than having people come. Also: the Fishermen's site homepage shows the pelican feeding that happens on 12pm but only when you enter the specific pelican feeding page you see a message about it being postponed until further notice.

This is a fantastic free event that happens everyday 12pm at San Remo by parking lot closest to the bridge to Philip Island. You can't feed the pelicans but you can get up really close to them and for someone short like me the pelican and I are standing almost eye to eye level!! It's exciting and well worth the trip to stop for a 20 minute look and encounter the birds up close with no barrier. A completely different experience to when you visit the penguins! Ps. Some of the pelicans don't stay within the red string when the feeder sets it up. Also the pelicans do stand in front of the exit way so be mindful of where you choose to stand if shooing extremely large birds isn't your thing!!

Nice experience seeing the pelicans being fed and the lady teaching us more about these birds. The show starts at 12, so it'll be good to reach before 11.40 for a good view during school holidays. After the show you can always try to spot stingrays in the water.

Great to watch pelicans feeding session so close! It was fun. The hostess is experienced and love the birds. 12 noon everyday, pelicans were there waiting before 12.

Good 'show'. During school holidays there are so many people and tourists, it pays to get a good spot early. The rays steal the show for me, they re awesome. The Pelicans are fairly tame - if you keep your distance. They are wild birds after all.

Good location for picnic, pelican feeding at 12pm every day for kids to enjoy, feeding may happen very quick depends on how crowded they are.
